Healthy “Banana Cream Pie” Oatmeal – Easy & Guilt-free!

Delicious and Healthy! This will get you going in the morning. So good and it’s even good for you! That’s hard to find, but, something I’m always looking for. This is part of my healthy, but not boring breakfast creations. Who wants plain oatmeal when quickly and easily flavored ones taste like such an indulgence! Yes!!

Serves:: 2 Makes: about 1 Cup
  • 1 C Water
  • ⅓ C Old Fashioned oats
  • ½ Banana, peeled, mashed
  • Pinch Kosher sea salt
  • 1-2 T Agave nectar, or honey, optional
  • ¼ C Unsweetened Coconut milk
  • 2 T Vanilla whey protein powder
  • 2 T Toasted unsweetened coconut flakes
  • 2 T Toasted sliced almonds
  1. In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine water, oatmeal, mashed banana, and salt.
  2. Stir well and microwave for 3 minutes.
  3. Remove from oven and stir in agave, coconut milk, and protein powder.
  4. Pour into 2 bowls and garnish with coconut and almonds.
  5. Serve hot.
