  • 2 C Swanson Brand Vegetable Broth
  • (1) 14.5 oz. Can Organic Fire-roasted diced tomatoes
  • 1 pinch Freshly ground black pepper
  • ½ t Dried Basil
  • ¼ t Granulated sugar
  • ¼ t Kosher sea salt
  • Garnish with fresh basil leaves, if desired.
  1. Combine broth, tomatoes, and seasonings in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat.
  2. When soup gently simmers, reduce heat to med-low, stirring occasionally, and simmering for another 10 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and cool slightly.
  4. Pour into blender, place clean kitchen towel over lid and blend for 1-2 minutes until smooth and velvety.
  5. Garnish as desired.
  6. Serve hot.
