Ingredients:
  • 2 large ripe pears, unpeeled
  • ¼ t Ground cinnamon
  • ¼ C Broken walnuts
  • Sauce ingredients:
  • 2 T Walnut butter or any nut butter
  • 1 T + 1 t Unsweetened Plant protein powder

Directions:
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Cut the pears in half and place on a rimmed baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Trim a small slice off the skin side so they will remain stable.
  4. Using a ½ tablespoon measuring spoon or melon baller, scoop out the seeds.
  5. Sprinkle cut side very lightly with cinnamon.
  6. Place walnuts into cavities until slightly overflowing.
  7. Bake in the lower one third rack of oven so walnuts don’t burn, for 30 minutes.
