Whole Wheat Walnut Oatmeal Raisin Cookies - Healthy and Tasty!

- 1 C Whole wheat flour
- 1 t Ground cinnamon
- 1 t Baking powder
- 1⁄2 t Baking soda
- 1⁄2 t Sea salt
- 1 C Brown sugar
- 1⁄4 C Applesauce
- 2 Large eggs
- 2 T Unsalted butter
- 1 1⁄2 t Vanilla extract
- 1 1⁄3 C Oats
- 1 C Chopped walnuts
- 1⁄2 C Jumbo Raisins, or 1 cup regular raisins
- Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Combine the flour, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in one bowl.
- Mix the brown sugar, applesauce, eggs, unsalted butter, and vanilla extract, in another bowl.
- Mix the two bowls into one bowl.
- Add in the oats, walnuts, and raisins, stirring just until mixed.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of the dough onto a parchment lined baking sheet.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, at 350 degrees, or until lightly golden brown.
