  • 1 C Brown sugar, packed
  • ½ C Half-and-half
  • 4 T Unsalted butter
  • 2 Small Pinches, Kosher sea salt
  • 1 T Pure Vanilla extract
  1. Mix the brown sugar, half-and-half, butter, and salt in a saucepan, over medium-low heat.
  2. Cook while whisking gently for 5 - 7 minutes, until it gets thicker.
  3. Add the vanilla and cook another minute to thicken further.
  4. Turn off the heat, cool slightly and pour the sauce into a small container with a tightly fitting lid.
  5. Use immediately or refrigerate until needed.
